Silver Certification
Quick and easy certification for Partners

Completing the Partner Silver Certification

Once you’ve run through the Guided Learning program, the final step of becoming a Partner of Plus Software is to complete the Silver Certification.

This is relatively easy to do, in a few steps:

  1. Complete the 3 exercises below (on your desktop version of Snapshot);
  2. Do this by recording the exercise (see How to Certify, below);
  3. Once complete, email us your outcomes.

Section1

Complete these 3 Sections

This is the first step in the Silver Certification for Snapshot - general usability

1. Snapshot General Usability

  1. Click START on your recording software (see below)
  2. Point to the Snapshot version /SQL Instance, on the home screen
  3. Add a Dashboard to Favourites
  4. Add a user to Snapshot – allow them to view the first 2 Sales Dashboards under the Sales category
  5. Search for a Dashboard with CTLR + F

This is the second step in the Silver Certification for Snapshot - dashboard knowledge

2. Dashboard Knowledge

  1. Open “All time Sales Dashboard” – show 3-5 ways to filter information
  2.  If no “All time Sales Dashboard” open any other Sales Dashboard (with sufficient data)
  3. Show how to cancel a filter, and change parameters on the fly
  4. Email or send a Dashboard or table, to a printer or PDF
  5. Copy any inventory Dashboard and customise to show understanding
This is the third step in the Silver Certification for Snapshot - website knowledge

3. Website Knowledge

  1. Show the pricing page on SnapshotBI.com
  2. Show the Web Dashboards section and the Installation Manual for Web Dashboards
  3. Choose a Country and Business System – point out the 5 user and unlimited pricing options
  4. Head to the Screencast-O-Matic Support page (tip – see Customer/Snapshot Support Tip)
  5. Point out FAQ numbers 2, 6 and 7, under subheading Using, on the FAQ page

How to certify

  1. Use the free Screencast-O-Matic screen capture video recording software to record the various sections of the Silver or Gold Certification.
  2. There is no need to edit – send us your raw video (via the Screencast-O-Matic Quik Share option) to support@PlusSoftSolutions.com.

If you have your own screen recording software, there’s no need to use ours. Record as per normal, and send your completed recording.

Once we have verified your recording, we will immediately certify you and you can progress to Intermediate training if you wish.
